Brian Pastor is a versatile musician, educator, composer, and arranger. He currently serves as the second trombonist for the Philly Pops and has performed with the group for over 30 years. He also was the founder and principal trombonist of the Brian Pastor Big Band.
A graduate of West Chester University (B.S. in Music Ed) and Trenton State College (MFA in Music), he was also an instrumental music specialist in Philadelphia public schools. A sought-after trombonist, Brian has performed with icons like Elton John, Tony Bennett, and Patti LaBelle. He’s recorded extensively, played Broadway shows, and written hundreds of arrangements and original compositions for ensembles of all sizes.
