Bio

Growing up in Atlanta, Brooke began her cello lessons at age 9 and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance from UNC School of the Arts. After several years playing for the North Carolina Symphony, she moved to Philadelphia, joining the Philly Pops and the Opera Philadelphia orchestras. Her extensive performance credits include collaborations with icons like Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole, and Mel Tormé. As a founding board member of the No Name Pops, Brooke is committed to creating uplifting and inspiring musical experiences for all ages in and around Philadelphia. Brooke believes music education should be accessible to all children. She serves as the Program Director for SWAN4kids, a non-profit in Lancaster, PA, offering free music lessons and emotional support for children affected by parental incarceration.

Beyond the Pops

In my free time, I enjoy daily walks, kayaking and exploring new hiking trails near and far.
