Frances is an active teacher and performer in the Philadelphia area. She plays with the Philly Pops, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and the Lancaster Symphony,. In addition, she has performed with the Baltimore Symphony, Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra, and Delaware Symphonies. In 2002 she was the second place winner in the National Flute Association’s Piccolo Artist Competition. Frances has a Master’s Degree from the Peabody Conservatory and Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan. Her primary teachers include Robert Willoughby, Leone Buyse, and Laurie Sokoloff.

Frances grew up in Northern Virginia, got her Master's in Flute Performance from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, and moved to Philadelphia, the Greatest City on Earth, shortly thereafter.
